I don’t normally post on Saturdays, but with the Nordstrom Sale ending tomorrow, I thought I’d provide any readers who stopped by with my final picks…from what’s been picked over! Yes, a few of these items have definitely been picked over, and there aren’t as many sizes or color choices available. But y’all, this sale has been going on a while now, so…
However, I did try to only list items that were pretty well stocked…at least when I put this post together. Who knows what’s happened overnight…as women couldn’t sleep and instead trolled the Nordstrom Sale website. Ha!
Nordstrom Sale Final Picks – Jeans
You’ll notice each category only has a few picks. In the jeans category I’m only listing jeans from brands that I’ve tried. Because I’m just not familiar with many of Nordstrom’s jean brands, I don’t feel comfortable “picking” them, especially since many of them are quite pricey. My picks are not so pricey.
I have the cranberry Jen7 Ankle Skinny jeans and I’m really struggling with whether to keep them. I love them, but I didn’t really mean to keep them when I ordered them. I just wanted to try them. Hmm. These are great jeans.
And I’ve now decided that the Treasure & Bond Praise High Waist Flared Crop jeans do fit me in the size 29. So I’d really like to keep those, too. I shared those previously here. But my budget is very thin right now because my husband is out of a job, so…
Nordstrom Sale Final Picks – Tops
Honestly, I haven’t tried any of these. The tops I ordered are all long gone. But I do love these plaids. And that Joie blouse. Man! It’s a knock out. Of course the price is, too. But if you’re a working gal or someone who has reason to wear something like this often, I’d say go for it! I think it’s beautiful.
Nordstrom Sale Final Picks – Accessories
When I say accessories I mean that in the narrowest sense of the word. I only picked some handbags and earrings. Ha! But I do love all of these.
Nordstrom Sale Final Picks – Boots
I didn’t order any boots from Nordstrom during the sale because a) I don’t need booties (I like the ones I have from previous seasons) and b) I didn’t find any of the taller boots that I both liked and could afford. But, hey, I do like these picks. I’d wear any of them.
Nordstrom Sale Final Picks – Shoes
For this category you’ll see that my picks are largely in the athleisure category. That’s because I’m on the hunt for some chic sneakers for the fall/winter. I did order these leopard print flats, and I’ll be featuring them in an upcoming blog post. They fit amazingly. Truly, some of the best fitting shoes I’ve ever put my feet in!
Nordstrom Sale Final Picks – Cardigans
I’d heard that cardigans were big sellers at previous Nordstrom sales, and that proved to be true this time, too. Many are sold out or extremely depleted size-wise. Still I found a few that had a decent stock and that I really, really like. But you might find others in your size, so check out the cardigan section.
Nordstrom Sale Final Picks – Lingerie & Loungewear
Like I said, I’m on the hunt for sneakers, but I’m also craving a pair of joggers. I have visions of wearing them with a comfy tee and those sneakers…most every day this fall! So, while I do have some shapewear and sleepwear for you, I love these joggers. They seem to restock and sell out and restock and sell out. No promises.
That’s it!
Well, that’s it ladies. The end of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for this newbie fashion blogger. I survived. And I took notes. I’ll do a few things differently next year. And I’ll pass those tips on to you when the time rolls around. Until then, I’m sifting through what I purchased and boxing up my returns.
I’d love to hear about what you purchased if you’re an Anniversary Sale shopper. What did you buy? What did you think? And what are you returning?
I hope you enjoyed this post and at least tolerated all this Nordstrom Sale posting. Honestly, I’m glad it’s over. But it was indeed a good sale. Until next year!
Blessed for My Day
Today as we wrap up this Nordstrom fall sale, I want to pray for your remaining days of summer to be sweet and long. I’m so prone to think ahead that I sometimes fail to savor the now. But I pray that you and I both enjoy and express gratitude for the blessings of this day. Let’s count our blessings, acknowledge God’s faithfulness, trust Him with the future and rest in His promises. Let’s be present in the moment, sit for a while and listen to the silence, pause to reflect and pray, meditate on Scripture and truly turn our eyes upon Jesus. May we be blessed with the here and now.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:11-13
