Blessed for My Day

How do you run to God? Have you ever considered that? We’re told to run to God in times of distress or need. We’re assured that He is our refuge in times of trouble. But how exactly do you seek shelter in the Lord?

Here are a few ways to run to the Lord in times of need. First, resist the desire to run elsewhere. That’s hard enough! Then call out to God in prayer. I think it’s wise to call upon God orally, verbalizing your prayers out loud. Then run to His Word. Remind yourself of the truth that will steady you and give you needed perspective. Finally, tell the Lord that you believe He is who He says He is, He can do what He says He will do, you are who He says you are and that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. ~ Proverbs 18:30

  1. Great video, Kay! All the looks are so cute. Thanks.
Thanks for BFMD. BFMD is such a blessing ; I look forward to it.
    Have a blessed day, Kay!

  2. Loved the video! More great ideas . I always look forward to your videos in my inbox every week.

  3. Great video Kay! Thanks for all the summer wardrobe inspiration. I must admit that I have fallen into a wardrobe rut, especially since the virus is spiking here and it’s 112 and getting hotter (Phoenix, AZ). We are just not going anywhere 😢

  4. It’s in the details. I love the green belt with the graphic tee. The madras shirt is very pretty. Are the sleeves tight on this shirt? You look amazing in all these looks & I’m loving seeing you on video.
I had to go out yesterday for an eye exam. If you’ve never had an eye exam wearing a mask, it is pure torture. Simple things are just so complicated now. But hey, getting out is getting out. New people to talk too.

    1. No the sleeves are not tight on the madras shirt. I do have problems with some sleeves being tight. But these are not. Thanks so much for watching!

I agree that simple things have become much more difficult. I have trouble walking up and down stairs with a mask because I can’t see my feet. 🤪

  5. Hi Kay,
This is off topic but I’m wondering if you use a self tanner on your legs, they look tan compared to rest of your skin. The color looks good. If so, what brand are you using?
    Thanks, Kim 🌻

    1. Hi Kim. I do but not very regularly. I think I did have some going that weekend. I put it on my arms too but maybe not as dark. 😬 I’ve been using the St. Tropez tanner here: https://shopstyle.it/l/bjUDb I do like it and I especially like that this kit included a mitt and exfoliator.
