Shop Amazon Prime Day with Me

Happy Monday! Oh, and happy Summer! And guess what? It’s also Amazon Prime Day. That simply means that if you’re an Amazon Prime member, you’re privy to the year’s lowest prices on Amazon devices and products from other leading brands. And the “Day” has already started and continues through Tuesday, June 22, at 11:59 p.m. There are literally millions of deals, and many of them drop throughout this 48-hour “day.” (That’s right; Prime Day is actually two days. Go figure!) Whether you’re currently an Amazon Prime member or not, hang with me. I’m sharing ALL of my Amazon favorites in today’s post. And they’re always great deals…whether you have an Amazon Prime membership or not.

In fact, as I began this post on Saturday afternoon, I had no idea what all the offers will be in the Amazon Prime Day sale. And new bargains will continue to drop throughout the day. So I’d simply like to share with you my all-the-time Amazon favorites, then share a few great bargains I’ve spotted early in the sale and direct you to the Amazon Prime Days lead page where you can scour the sale for the items you need or desire most. My favs may or may not be included in the sale, but these items are ones I own and frequently shop for through Amazon simply because I get the best buys on these things there.

#1 Mexican blanket // I shared this authentic Mexican blanket in this video last fall about What to Wear Dining Outside this Fall & Winter. But I actually keep my Mexican blanket draped on my wrought iron glider on my back porch year round. It’s the perfect weight for keeping the morning or evening chill off when you’re enjoying a cup of coffee or conversation with friends outside. They come in multiple colors, and I’d love to have more.

#2 Mellanni Bed Sheet Sets // I have these Mellanni Bed Sheet Sets on our bed and the guest bed in our home. They are so soft and wrinkle, stain and fade resistant. I have the white set and the paisley blue, but they come in over a dozen other colors and prints. My daughter and mother also have them on their beds. Really, for the low price, these are absolutely the best sheets I’ve found.

#3 E-Cloth High Performance Microfiber Dusting Glove // I recently binged on housekeeping videos at Faith & Flour. My friend Robin recommends the cleaning products from E-Cloth, so I’ve been stocking up on the essentials. Already this High Performance Microfiber Dusting Glove has come in handy, especially for dusting my spindle back dining chairs and my banister.

#4 E-Cloth Starter Cleaning Pack // I’m also taking Robin’s advice and using the other E-Cloth products to clean the rest of my home. I started out by ordering the E-Cloth Starter Cleaning Pack, but I have since then ordered more clothes. I love that I can clean everything in my home with just water and these high performance microfiber cloths. #1 LANCOME PARIS Definicils High Definition Mascara // This has been my favorite mascara for years. It goes on with fine precision rather than clumpy or crumbly. And it lengthens my small lashes like nothing else. But I really appreciate the staying power of this mascara. And I always first apply the Lancome Cils Booster Xl Mascara Enhancing Base for the smoothest application. It keeps my lashes healthier too.

#2 La Vie Est Belle by LANCOME PARIS // This sophisticated, subtle scent has been my signature fragrance for several years now. And I love the significant savings I get by purchasing it through Amazon.

#3 Toiletry Travel Bag // This is actually a new purchase for me, but I love this Toiletry Travel Bag. And while it’s perfect for travel, you could certainly use it for everyday storage of your cosmetics and applicators as well. It comes in two sizes and several colors.

#4 Shiseido Facial Razors // I’ve always had a little peach fuzz on my face, especially along the jawline. But that didn’t really bother me until we started taking so many photos close up. Now I’m dermablading regularly with these Shiseido Facial Razors. No, you don’t grow a beard if you use them! Would you like for me to demonstrate how I use them in a video? Let me know!

#5 Original Erase All Makeup Eraser // My friend Candy first sent me one of these Original Erase All Makeup Erasers and I love them. I don’t always use them because I like my Mary Kay cleanser. But I do love that I can use the Original Erase All Makeup Eraser with just water to both cleanse (yes, thoroughly!) and exfoliate (gently!) my face.

Miscellaneous

#1 Apple Airpods with Charging Case // I just purchased these Apple Airpods. They actually are part of the Prime Day deals. My earbuds needed to be replaced and I knew this was the time to get the Apple Airpods if I ever wanted them. This is the lowest price we’ll find!

#2 SIMPLEHUMAN 8″ Round Sensor Makeup Mirror // I’ve also recently purchased this state of the art Makeup Mirror. It’s a perfect solution for us ladies with aging eyes. But it also just provides great lighting for accurate makeup application.

#3 Acorn Spa Slippers // These spa thongs feature memory foam foot beds and they are oh so soft. I’ve been wearing my pink pair for two years now and I’m chomping at the bit to buy another pair. I’m going to hold off, but if you’re looking for great little slippers…for you or a gift to someone else…these are the ones!

Shopping Prime Day

Of course anyone can shop Amazon, easy peasy. But Prime Day is exclusively for Prime members, so if you haven’t taken the plunge yet, you can sign up for a 30-Day Free Trial and enjoy all of the Prime Day sales as well as all the other benefits. You may find that you enjoy all the benefits – they’re many! – and decide to keep the membership past the trial period. But even if you cancel the membership, at least you can shop the sale with full benefits right now.

What are the benefits of Prime membership?

• you get free 2-day shipping on most purchases
• rewards when you shop Amazon stores like Whole Foods

Let me offer you just a few tips for shopping the Prime Day sale.

• Think smart; think fast. Once you add an item to your cart, you only have 15 minutes to purchase before it will be taken out of your cart. So don’t be afraid to shop and purchase one item at a time.
• Prioritize. There are big ticket items on sale now and throughout the 48 hours, and obviously that’s where you’ll get the biggest savings. So if you’re looking for a new television or other electronic, you might want to start there and work your way down to less expensive items.
• Check in throughout the day. This sale is notorious for actually improving with time. New items will go on sale every hour throughout.

Blessed for My Day

We have absolutely nothing to fear today. “Oh,” you may say, “but I do.” I know it sometimes feels like we do indeed have reason to be anxious, unsettled, on the edge of our seat. But if we have entrusted our lives to the Almighty God, we truly can rest in His provision and protection and good will. He has assured us that we have no reason to fear.

If you are, however, sitting on the edge of your seat today…awaiting test results, watching the news, wondering what’s going to happen to a family member, trying to figure out how to make ends meet…I suggest you choose to spend more time in prayer and in God’s Word. There in God’s presence, as we allow His Word to wash over us, we find the peace and direction and hope we long for. Lay your fears down at His feet, dear sister. And leave them there.
