One Final Look at the #NSale 2021

Happy weekend! And it’s also the final weekend for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. As I drove by our Nordstrom yesterday and looked at the large yellow sale banner hanging on the side of the building, it occurred to me that this is the one sale Nordstrom does that offers such great prices on so much new merchandise. While some of my other favorite stores like Talbots, J.Jill and Chico’s frequently run introductory sales when they first release their new lines, Nordstrom really only does this once a year. And that window of opportunity closes Sunday. That’s why I think it’s worth it to take one final look at the #NSale 2021.

In fact, if you have a Nordstrom Credit Card, chances are you’ve already received notice of having some new Nordy notes in your account. Cha-ching! While I often save mine to use for Christmas shopping, I went ahead and spent mine on some comfortable shoes I know I’ll love wearing this fall. They’re not part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I have to tell you about them. I purchased these Paul Green Cynthia Mules in the nougat leather. I have a feeling they’ll be dreamy. My Nordy notes didn’t cover the steep price, by the way. But they made a significant enough dent to make me feel good about purchasing these high quality, comfortable shoes.

I also purchased another tube of my favorite fall and winter lipstick shade, Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Envy in Rebellious Rose. That’s the lipstick I was wearing in Thursday’s post. Isn’t that a great color? And it goes on and stays on beautifully. Estee Lauder says it’s one of the top sellers and that it wears like a neutral, beautiful on almost all skin tones, no matter what you’re wearing.

So yeah, I’ve used up my Nordy Notes. And I am absolutely done shopping the sale. But before I finished I also purchased this Barefoot Dreams throw and these mini jar candles. They smell divine! And the Baltic Amber one looks great on my morning room coffee table. (Yeah, that’s what James named that room just this morning. Ha!)

But here’s a rundown of other items that seem to be fairly well stocked in the #NSale 2021 as it comes to a close. And these are the ones I think are definitely worth a second look. I’ve included notes in them, telling you why I think they’re great deals.

Remember, the #NSale 2021 ends Sunday evening with prices returning to full price on Monday morning early. Thanks for dropping in. I hope you have a lovely weekend! And guess what! When we meet up again I won’t even mention the #NSale 2021 again. 😉

Blessed for My Day

Have you ever wondered if parts of the Bible have become outdated or non-applicable? We the Bible itself challenges us to either believe and trust and obey it all or walk away from it altogether. You see, Psalm 119, which is all about the trustworthiness of Scripture, reminds us that “the sum” of God’s Word is truth. The implication is that the sum result of all the teachings as well as the individual parts that make up that sum are indeed truth.

I’m enjoying reading through the “sum” of God’s Word through the Charles Stanley Life Principles Daily Bible. Of course, I’m a little over half way through at this point. But I already know I’m going to start over on January 1, 2022, and read it cover to cover again. And I’m inviting you now to simply begin thinking about whether you’d like to join me.

The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting. Psalm 119:160

xoxo, Kay

    1. Wonderful! It’s been so much easier and enjoyable this time because I’m not trying to get kids off to school and such. I can be much more consistent with my morning readings.
