Hello gals! Last Saturday I said I was going to begin posting “How I Really Dressed for My Day” each Saturday. Well, truth be told, I just didn’t dress for my days a whole lot this week. I had so many writing assignments on top of this blog, that I pretty much spent every day sitting at the computer. So instead of showing you the same denim shorts with five different old t-shirts, I thought I’d share a collection of my favorite fall shoes that are on sale this weekend.
If you’ve been around Dressed for My Day long, you’ll probably recognize several of these shoes. I’ve either purchased and worn them, or I’ve featured them in shopping widgets. These are fall shoes that are on trend, made by well known designers, available in many sizes and now at amazing prices. In fact, other than the shoes I’ve featured from Ann Taylor, I wouldn’t expect any of these shoes to ever go any lower…at least not in time to wear this fall.
Bottom line? If you’ve been eyeing any of these shoes and watching for the prices to go do, now is the time to snag them.
Fall Shoes from Ann Taylor
The above shoes are all from Ann Taylor. I bought my first pair of pumps from Ann Taylor recently, the pump at the top right in the photo above, and I am so impressed with the comfort. Granted, I don’t usually wear very high heels. This is about as high as I usually go. But I think this basic suede Eryn pump is both classically beautiful and comfortable. In fact I’m wearing it today at my speaking engagement. It’s 40% off right now.
The Frannie Flannel Bow Pumps are definitely trending this year. Fabric shoes of all sorts are really in, but especially plaids like this one. The heel is 2 3/4″ and the shoes are 40% off.
In the bottom right corner, these block heel suede pumps are also trending. I think suede is such a rich option, especially for fall and winter. But you really can wear these pumps year-round, especially in this beautiful grey. They also come in black and they’re 40% off.
Finally, you’ll see that I have plenty of other leopard print options below, but this block heel leopard print option is definitely on trend and classic. The bow is a nice touch, especially if you’re wearing them mainly to the office. These have a 3 1/4″ heel.
All the Leopard Prints from Sam Edelman
I purchased the Sam Edelman leopard print flat (bottom left) during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. But even then I don’t think they were marked down this low. They’re only available in a few sizes at this point, but these shoes, originally $139.95, are marked down to $55.98. And they are extremely comfortable from the moment you put them on and all day long.
In the top left corner, the Sam Edelman Junie Genuine Calf Hair pump is marked down 40%. They still have plenty of sizes, but please don’t take my 9.5. I’m still debating on this one. I love the block heel, and I think this may be the shoe to try it out on. (I’m just kidding by the way. If you want the 9.5, you go right ahead! With my blessing!)
The slingback in the top right corner is marked down 55% to $58.53. I think that’s an awesome price for such a nice, classic slingback pump.
Finally, the full size pump is just a high heel version of the flats I own. So if they’re as comfortable as the flat, these should be great shoes. They originally sold for $159.95, and they’re marked down 60% to $63.98. Y’all.
Great Booties and Slingbacks for Fall
I’ve featured each of the above shoes in neutral tones, but several of them are available in other shades as well. Each of these look current and fabulous, but you would also get several seasons of wear out of any of them because of their classic lines. They look rich and expensive, but right now they are marked down so low it’s almost silly.
I ordered the Vince Camuto split shaft booties in the top left corner and I can’t wait to wear them. They’re a little higher than I usually wear, but I think I can definitely wear them to church or anywhere else I go for just a few hours. I think they’re going to look great with skinny jeans, boot cut jeans and skirts. The booties are also available in grey and black, and they’re marked down 53% from the original price.
The lower heeled Vince Camuto Prasada bootie is available in limited sizes in five beautiful neutral shades. They’re marked down 53% as well. So if you’re looking for a great bootie to wear with jeans and leggings, these would be a great choice.
If I were a high heel gal, I would order the ruched and perforated Vince Camuto booties in a heart beat! They’re only marked down to just under $100, but I hear great things about these shoes from other bloggers (the ones who wear high heels!). They also come in greystone and black.
The Vince Camuto Acasha Slingback Pump looks fabulously modern. I love the plunging vamp. The pump is also available in three other shades, including a beautiful red. But sizes are going fast. In fact, it’s not available in my size. It’s marked down 60% to just $51.98.
Finally, the Sam Edelman Ludlow Slingback Pump is available in seven shades including a lovely true red. The price ranges from $56.34 to $74.76, depending on whether the shoe is suede, leather or patent leather. So whether you’re looking for a patent leather black shoe for a dressy occasion or a sued pump for work, this low heeled shoe may work well for you.
Shop the Widget
Below is a shopping widget with all the above shoes plus a few others. Don’t forget to take 40% off the Ann Taylor shoes. Otherwise, I think the right sale prices show up on the widget. The widget and text above include affiliate links so that you can shop more efficiently and I can earn a little income. Thank you so much for supporting me by shopping through my links.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post and that it was helpful to you. Even if you’re not shopping for shoes, you can see what’s trending. Lots of texture, block heels, animal print and bows are in, but really so many silhouettes are appropriate and current right now.
I’d love it if you shared this post on Facebook. After all, friends don’t let friends pay full price for beautiful shoes. But friends also share the news when those shoes are on sale!
Have a great weekend ladies! I’ll see you again on Monday.
Blessed for My Day
Today may you be blessed with rich and satisfying relationships. May you find joy in insightful conversations, time spent together, moments of sweet intimacy and a growing trust between you and those you love. But even if all of your human relationships feel flat and formless right now, may you find your greatest satisfaction in an honest, loving and growing relationship with the One who loves you most – Jesus. Take some time today to thank Him for His love for you, His commitment to never letting you go and His enduring faithfulness. He loves you so much that He’d leave the 99 to seek you out and draw you in.
What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray. So it is not the will of my[a] Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. ~ Matthew 18:12-14
