Christmas Gift Guide for Couples and Families

As our kids get older and our families expand, I think it’s common and even practical to consider giving couple or family gifts. And even if you give individual presents, too, family gifts can be really fun. Of course, all of these gifts for couples and families are appropriate for individuals, too.

I have so many gifts in this list. It’s my favorite!!! And I’ve covered all the price points. In fact, some of them are admittedly a little spendy. But my thinking there is that you and your spouse may be looking for a couple gift for yourselves. Ha!! What a great idea!

Do you have the light? As a child you may have sung, “This little light of mine…I’m gonna let it shine…” But the light is not some shining essence we have within us naturally. Jesus said very clearly that He is the light. We only have the true light within us if we choose to follow Christ.

This Christmas let’s remember to spend time in the presence of the light of the world. Only then can we truly reflect His brilliance, giving a little light to those around us. When we have the light of Christ in our lives, we help others come to Him. We don’t stand in the limelight ourselves, but instead we point others to Jesus.

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” ~ John 8:12
