Hello dear reader. If you have dropped in here today, you are special to me indeed. I’m so very grateful for you gals! Merry Christmas!

James and I are driving down to Georgia today to celebrate the remainder of the day with my parents, our daughter Abigail, my brother and his family and my sweet aunt. It will be good to be with family.

Last year James and I were thousands of miles from family. So if you are not with those you love this year, I understand how the distance seems multiplied on this particular day. But I encourage you to embrace the day for what it is and to allow God to bless you with His presence and grace.

I wish you the most lovely day. Whether you’re eating at Waffle House – like we are!!! – or feasting on an extravagant home-cooked meal, I hope you delight in all the wonderful aromas and tastes. And may you receive a sweet gift or two as well!

But most of all, I wish you Jesus. May you delight in His love for you on this special day.

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth… For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”

~ John 1:14, 16-17

Merry Christmas, sweet reader!

xoxo, Kay
