Blessed for My Day
We can cut corners and save a little money by shopping sales and looking for bargains. That’s one way to protect our physical “riches.” But we can’t cut corners when it comes to storing up spiritual treasures. To lay up treasure in heaven, we must invest well and put in the work. And often we must sacrifice time, effort and even money to build up spiritual value.
But you can know that spending time, energy and even money in Bible study, Scripture meditation and prayer is a worthwhile investment with great dividends, both here on earth and in heaven. Today let’s commit to valuing the opportunity to grow closer to Jesus through His Word and prayer.
In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches. ~ Psalm 119:14

Heading to YouTube for the video. Love❤️Video day. You always make me smile.
Hahaha! You crack me up! Thanks so much for being here! 😉
Hi Kay, I’m feeling pretty BOSS right now. Just clicked “place order” on a Talbots order for 3 jackets, 1 sweater, 1 shirt and 1 necklace–all for 3/4 the original price of the most expensive jacket. 🙂 I knew I’d be birthday shopping today so this video was so very timely. And it helped me remember to click through from your link above. Thank you so much for the good advice. I took it to heart and chose accordingly, esp about the jackets. All the items were marked “final sale,” no returns. Which was a little scary on the jackets. But I ordered my normal Talbots size and I figure at these prices I can turn around and sell them if they don’t work out. Thanks for contributing to my birthday blessing!
🙌🏻Woohoo! Wonderful. I hope you enjoy everything you bought. Don’t you just love getting a great deal like that?!? Thanks for sharing. 🥰
Great video and dos and don’ts for shopping summer sales! Thank you for reminding me!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video, Cindi. Thanks so much for letting me know.
Such a fun video Kay! I love the advice of steering away from prints. Something I never really thought about before.
Yeah. Well that’s not to say that all prints will look dated the next year, but they are more likely to. So solids are just a safer bet. Thanks so much for watching. 😊
Hello Kay….great video and tips! I didn’t know that about prints going in/out style. I have bought a couple tops from Loft in their sales the past couple months…..hoping I can wear them next year.
I would change the “Brilliant” name to “Beautiful”……I do like the sound of that in BOSS
Blessings,
Thanks for watching Holly. Well you have wonderful taste and probably picked out beautiful things. And I definitely have some prints in my wardrobe that I hope to wear again next year. But if you think about it, the prints in our wardrobes generally are the first things to look a little dated. You absolutely can still wear them. They just may not look quite as current the next year. That’s because the colors on this year’s prints are of the “it” colors of the year. Then next year comes around and they look very “last year.” Know how I mean? But that doesn’t mean they are OUT of styled, just a title dated. Thanks for the suggestion about the b for beautiful. Now if I can just remember to keep it that way! Ha!
