Happy Friday, gals! I hope you have plans for a little fun this weekend…maybe some time just for you and the one you love. In the spirit of a little romance, I’m styling white jeans today…for daytime to date night! Oh, and then be sure to head over to Susanne’s blog to check out how she is Styling Summer for the final day of our collaboration.

First, let’s check out this sweet look for daytime denim.

White Jeans for Daytime

White Jeans - Daytime to Date Night

I think white and pale pink are just dreamy together.

White Jeans - Daytime

For this easy but soft daytime look I simply paired my favorite white skinny jeans with this pale pink tiered hem linen tee. I received this feminine t-shirt in my last Trunk Club trunk and instantly fell in love. I’m wearing a small and it fits true to size.

White Jeans - Daytime

For the daytime look I used light and fun accessories like my palm necklace and beaded sphere earrings.

To take the pink and white look from daytime to evening, I just added my white linen blazer and a little more bling. My blazer is almost sold out, but I love this one by 1901. I have one of their blazers in black and it runs true to size and is great quality. And actually this 1901 blazer is a better price. I’m providing other options in the shopping widget, too. I am wearing my white linen blazer soooo often.

My cluster necklace is several years old, but it definitely elevates the look. This one would achieve a similar effect, taking the look from daytime to date night.

Pink Sandals with white jeans

My soft pink sandals are still not on sale, but the white ones – which are just as lovely! – are almost half the price. These sandals have a very softly cushioned bed and look oh so feminine. They also come in black patent.

rose studded camera bag

I added another gold bangle to the one I’d had on for daytime. But my small rose studded camera bag beautifully pulls double duty for a casual daytime look and an elevated evening vibe. By the way, this chic bag is more than 60% off the original price. AND it’s available in bright red or black for even less.

I changed out the beaded white earrings in the daytime look for my gold hoops, but kept in the moon and star earrings, too.

Not only is this white and pale pink combination beautiful for daytime to date night, but it’s lovely for walking through a museum on a Saturday morning, church or a matinee performance of a summer musical.

Blessed for My Day

This week my pastor (and husband) encouraged everyone in our church to read through the book of John. The “one point” of James’ sermon this past week was that knowing and obeying the Truth is the best defense against falling for a lie. And one of the best ways to get to know the Truth is to read the book of John, where we can carefully observe Jesus.

Honestly, the prince of this world is constantly and consistently attempting to derail us from following after Jesus. We need to know Him intimately, but also historically. Yes, we need to draw close to Him in prayer, but we also need to read His words, follow His steps, watch His ways. How are you getting to know Jesus both intimately and historically?

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth … For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. ~ John 1:14, 16
